Review of Apache (1954) by Cranston Dies — 09 Apr 2008
Go blatent racism and sexism! It's the fifties - you can get away with anything! Seriously, it's comical how out in the open it all used to be. White people in brown face paint playing Native Americans.
Massai's wife has a quote along the lines of "But I'm a woman. All I'm good for is sewing, cooking, and bearing children!" That aside, the movie is fairly enjoyable if you're into old Westerns.
Wouldn't really recommend it otherwise.
