Major Oscar snub Manville is absolutely brilliant in this insightful, intimate marvel. A superb masterclass in acting, the Brits have done it again, putting movie stars and costly effects to shame as they expose pure unadulterated talent.
A sublime tour de force, there is no beginning, there is no end, but no one explores lifes mundane moments for snippets of rueful truth as Leigh does. Bravo!
