Another Year is a beautiful heartfelt British drama about happiness and ageing. Leigh assembles a fantastic cast led by a superb performance from Lesley Manville. For me, she had the second best performance of 2010 (Natalie Portman's being number 1). Manville brilliantly plays a character battling age, loneliness and a tremendous sense of insecurity. The rest of the cast is exquisite in its own right and adds great depth to the movie's flow.
Overall, Another Year is one of the best movies of 2010 (just barely missed my Top 10)..
