Review of Annihilation (2018) by Scienceadvisor — 12 Mar 2018
All FX flash, and little substance, wrapped around intellectual ideas that do not adequately tie together. Though the writer/director is hoping you cannot figure that out. It really starts to break down about half-way through when convience replaces continuity, especially with the environment of the anomaly.
This continues the Netflix run of quantity over quality, unfortunately.
