It's fine, I guess. It certainly gets better as it goes on.
Let's look at the good:
-Portman is good. She's easily the best part of the movie.
-The visuals are great.
-The concept is pretty good.
-The last 20 minutes are good.
And the bad:
-The first half is so mediocre. I'd even go as far as saying it's bad.
-Everyone besides Portman is sort of meh.
-The writing isn't great.
-The execution is pretty bad. I don't understand, why they would send in a team of scientist after several teams of soldiers didn't return. Some of them don't even have combat training.
It's worth a watch. Only one though.
