Great film that will leave a long-lasting impression on you, and will sure as hell keep you entertained throughout the duration of the film. The direction of this film is mind-boggling, and some of the scenes will genuinely catch you off guard. It will also leave you scratching your head about the ending, message, and how the world of Annihilation works in general. Annihilation is a masterpiece in a very special way, and a must-watch for every Sci-fi fan.
Only grip with the film: the movie uses some pseudoscientific ideas, and the story is somewhat inconsistent. However, that only fills it with even more mystery and adds to the brilliant mysterious vibe that permeates the world of Annihilation.
