Review of Annihilation (2018) by Shin M — 30 Jun 2018
This movie had a very intriguing premise that had me excited to see how it would unfold. Unfortunately, the writing in this film is not only insulting to the viewers' intelligence, it's insulting to the military's. This film boiled down to a B-movie horror with pretentiousness sprinkled throughout to give the illusion of depth.
On a positive note, the concept was great, and there were some very good visual effects.
