Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Ricardo Z — 01 Apr 2012
Even it is aclaimed as an ''American Classic'',or a ''Woodie's finest pieces of art'',I think there could've been more given by the script, and the direction,in charge of the majesty Mr.Allen.
A typical couple with some relationship issues are after a while unable to keep on with the relationship, like many couple they all find some things that both like, places they both like to go and moments which are maybe crucial for each others life, but in the end maybe jelaous and neurotical maners start making the walls for they to keep on the fire alive.
Mr.Allen might tell this story with a hilarious way,it is really funny, kind of dark and very different to in-today comedies, and the performances are just major league finest, but even being a great fan of Woody Allen movies, and listening a lot from this one,in my personal opinion one can be a little bit dissapointed because of the lack of a script that leave you with more than just:''Another romantic-comedie that made me laugh for 45mins and then made me think about how stupid I can be sometimes''....
