Although it features one of the best and most memorable scenes in film history and breaks the 4th wall convention in a daring manner, it becomes repetitive and stale.
It has good performances and the creation of the "rom-com" genre, the film overall was not worthy of the best pic of 1977, that belonged to "Star Wars".
