What I wouldn't give for a sock with horse manure in it.

Alvy Singer is a classic New York Jew who jokes about stereotypes and lives a fast paced lifestyle with lots of women and troubled relationships. One day he meets Annie Hall and together they investigate their likes and dislikes based on their past troubled relationships. Can this possibly make their relationship better or will this relationship end like all of the rest?

"Those who can't do, teach. And those who can't teach, teach gym.".

Woody Allen, director of Manhattan, Match Point, Scoop, Midnight in Paris, Small Time Crooks, Mighty Aphrodite, Sleeper, and Take the Money and Run, delivers Annie Hall. The storyline for this picture is very entertaining due to its fantastic characters, well written script, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. The acting is wonderful as the cast includes Woody Allen, Diane Keaton, Tony Roberts, Carol Kane, Paul Simon, Christopher Walken, and Shelly Duvall.

"It's all mental masturbation.".

"Finally, a subject you know something about!".

I have become a Woody Allen fan and began watching his films as I find them. This plot is pretty simple and nothing special but the characters are entertaining and his scripts are always clever and funny in its dry humor kind of way. Allen himself always plays a quirky character that I enjoy. This isn't his best film (despite the Oscar) or my favorite but it is very good.
