Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Yulia S — 10 Jan 2013
When I saw it for the first time I thought it was great, then I saw it again and I thought it was perfect. I love this film because it is not the usual romantic comedy mainly because it is well acted, funny and kind of sad.
The best part of it is the script, because it went places that now no one will even get near. Now writers think that it is unnecesary to talk about or show that writer or that intelectual, they asume that the ending must be happy or that the film has to be linear in order to attract a bigger audience. They are basically making movies more and more stupid.
The movie is funny, it has some great jokes and they are perfectly delivered.
I think it got some of the most deserved oscars for best picture, best actress and best script that have ever been given.
