Despite how bad writer-director Will Gluck's script is and the performances are plain out god awful from Cameron Diaz, Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx. The filmmakers have forgotten why the broadway play has good music in this modern Annie, the actors lip sink.
The music is fond and can make a kid smile but that is not enough. Grade B-.
