Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Devaughn B — 09 Aug 2017

First thing's first, I hate the first Annabelle film. I think it's unnecessary, dull, and just raises more questions than it answers. I absolutely LOVE both Conjuring films. And I'm glad to say I love this one too! Albeit completely unnecessary as well, it did exactly what I was hoping it would.

It answers all of the questions the first Annabelle left behind. It's completely terrifying without having to rely on loud noises and jump scares. Still suffers from including some of those old horror clichés, but turns right around and makes up for them with a much better story.
