Review of Anna to the Infinite Power (1983) by Bryan S — 03 Feb 2004
I now know what it means to feel "infested".
*****************.
I've been drifting through the past 5 days...half asleep...half aware...
I've been having nothing but nightmares and I think it may be my recent mass-consumption of tomato soup.
I assume that stuff is loaded with salt, and that salt is not akin to good pre-slumber snacking...unless you want traumatizing nocturnal a priori apparitions of President Bush shipping you off to an inter-asteroidal penal colony for DUI offenders...or finding the love of your life and watching her slowly die of cancer...
I'm a tortured soul right now, and my torture isn't even real.
I'm not used to this. I don't know how to handle it.
Perhaps if I watch the movie "Babe", which always makes me cry, I'll release some of these apparent demons lurking beneath the epidermis of my subconscious mind.
Or maybe I'll just have a nice hot bowl of tomato soup...
