Review of Anna to the Infinite Power (1983) by Joel H — 11 Apr 2011
This is a forgotten sci-fi thriller from the 80s, supposedly made for kids despite having subject matter that may be a bit too dark for that demographic. It has a very interesting premise, and is surprisingly well made despite its low budget and unknown cast.
It suffers from being very dated, and a lot of missed opportunities when it comes to suspense and knowing when to reveal certain aspects of the story. It gives too much away too soon. This is one film that I (and others) feel would benefit from a remake.
That's why I'm collaborating with someone to do just that.
