Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Erik H — 04 Mar 2013
A conceptually brilliant movie that is perhaps a tad overambitious. Keira Knightly delivers a solid performance as Anna Karenina, though fails to make her near as sympathetic as the story and script seem to suggest she should be.
But that aside, there are plenty of other characters to root for, and this film is stunningly beautiful.
