Probably Alan Parkers best film. I fell in Love with Lisa Bonet when I first saw it and I still do probably love her. Mickey Rourke and De Niro are just at their best. It's a truly great brilliantly written re-working of the Book Fallen Angel by Hjortsberg.
Powerfully aspected and very magnetic. This film affected me for while when I first saw it circa 1984. Such a strong storyline.
