Superb noir on the edge between a horror movie... Mickey Rourke is almost unrecognizable today and here gives a great performance. Alan Parker's shots are great and the plot is engaging with a brillant, dark ending.
Nolan got inspiration form this movie and once you've seen it, it's claerly understandable why...
