Review of Angel-A (2005) by Mirza K — 21 Mar 2010
A most stylish and beautifully shot, black-and-white movie by Luc Besson. In essence, the movie explores the fragility of human relationships. A petty criminal, who is down on his luck and pursued by his creditors, rescues a woman who jumps off a bridge while heâ??s contemplating suicide.
The woman turns out to be an angel, sent to help change the manâ??s luck in life. Rie Rasmussen, who was once famously the face of Tom Fordâ??s Gucci, is amazing in this movieâ?¦ literally, larger than life!
