Will Ferrell is the anchorman of the top rated news station in San Diego. Christina Applegate moves to the area and tries to become the lead. There is a lot of machismo in this one. From the 70's hair and fashion to the cheesy pick up lines.
Lot of classic quotes in this one. Eventually Will loses his job and lives life as an everyman before the typical happy ending. Lots of cameos from Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogan and Ben Stiller. Very good and holds up well.
