Review of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) by One-R — 06 Aug 2019
This film is one of those which has a great beginning but gets vague for the rest. Generally, it wasn't great to watch because there's just too much dialogue for me, most of which are irrelevant. The plot was okay, but as it was based on a true story, I could imagine it was more exciting in the reality than this film had portrayed.
Another point to make was, as this genre is supposed to be, the comedy. Bland - nothing more. There was only one time I smiled whilst watching this, and that was the massive fight scene. In fact I got so fed up watching "Anchorman", I fast-forwarded to that scene.
I would not recommend this to anyone unless they are American and/or like "comedy".
