Review of An American Tail (1986) by Lydia H — 17 Jun 2008
There are many hidden meanings behind this film - looking back at this film at my age now, I've been able to appreciate it more. The fact that the mice represent immigrants migrating to America for a 'better' life away from 'cats' is brilliant, much like 'Maus' by Art Spiegelman.
The animation and music is pretty good too, for it's time. ^^.
