Review of An American Tail (1986) by Sam M — 25 Oct 2017
Children won't pick up on the metaphors, but this tale hasn't aged much, and the mood of the visuals and the storyline which emits some emotion and feel, holds this film together just enough that it doesn't fail, though it's obviously missing something and that's okay.
These animated films were made for children, hence they'll never be rated by such an audience. So, why won't film-makers try the "2D" animation style for once today?
