Review of An American Tail (1986) by Hunter D — 17 Oct 2008
A great film, children's entertainment today is sorely lacking the human touch of Don Bluth. This movie has a memorable story, characters with personality, and it's an emotional ride, which made it memorable when I was kid, certainly more memorable than anything Disney had to offer.
Looking at it now, I do think it's too short and could have developed parts of the story a bit more, but it's still a children's classic in my book.
