Review of An American Crime (2007) by Megan B — 18 Sep 2009
This is a tale so disturbing you can't even believe that the actual events were worse. This is one of those movies that is so shocking you wish you could jump in and save this girl, do something to stop this maddness but all you can do is keep watching.
You may know the outcome but you keep wihsing it could be different. All the performances were powerful and saddening. You question how anyone can do these unspeakable acts. I reccomend people see it because it is an intriging film and a horrific trial of American history but it is a difficult film to sit through.
You feel so deeply for this girl wishing she could get out or that some one would put a stop to her torture but nothing can be done.
