Review of An American Crime (2007) by Chelsea D — 10 Mar 2013
This is the second film I've seen about this crime, and for me, it was the more effective of the two. It's less graphic (though not by much) and speaks more of the back story than The Girl Next Door did.
It's told more from the perspective of Gertrude Baniszewski. But no matter what angle you see this from, it's absolutely abhorrent. The actors in this film were very capable and I think I'll be a long time recovering from this.
