Review of An American Crime (2007) by Gustavo R — 07 Oct 2009

I love the movie, because it shows how messed up is our criminal system, the girl was tortured, killed, and the killer only received 20 years......I thought life meant life, and not a number of being good, after doing something so wrong, and how claim life can not be measured, but when someone has already been killed, a number of jail time is compared to the murder? Would not make more sense to give them same punishment as the one the crime they committed? If they survive, well, if the judge feels the person has learn to be a model citizen, they can live in their street, see how often they will rather keep this people in jail!!!
