Oh, this IS the film; Love it to the hilt. Cary is a continental playboy engaged to a rich girl, and Deborah Kerr is a mistress to a rich man. They fall in love and decide to meet in NY at the Empire State Bldg, but something comes up.
sweet, a tearjerker, get out ya hankies sisters. Forerunner for Sleepless in Seattle. Was filmed in like three to four versions as well. the last done by Warren Beatty and Annette Benning which I liked.
