Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Ibraheem M — 17 Sep 2014
Not a change to the romance genre when it comes to the concept of a match-breaking affair that has some moments of passion and a break from the genre while it means well throughout, with the pair trying to perform an unforgettable affair by their average good performances. These were the stuff the film was able to offer, but it wasn't enough to try to keep it away from the typical low-level enjoyment and being bored. Luckily however, the strength of those offers managed to bring this up to a 4-star while on the verge to a 3.5-star.
"An Affair to Remember" may've not lived up to its acclaiming title similar to the title of "Casablanca" due to the typicality of the genre, but there's enjoyment like on how passionate it is. (B+).
