Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Patryk C — 23 Jul 2012
It's as laughable as it is romantic and saddening in the end, and its main quality comes from the acting by Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, who truly shines on the screen. Even though the movie is sometimes slow, this beautiful story about forbidden and passionate love between two married people is enchanting in its realism.
There is a most memorable scene, where Grant anxiously awaits Kerr's arrival, but will not be meant to see her there, because of an excruciating turn of events.
