Review of Amy (2015) by Ian J — 13 Jul 2015
I don't like jazz so was never really "into" Amy's style of music. Consequently my main awareness of her prior to this absorbing movie was simply based on the (many) tabloid stories. I thought the movie presented a far more rounded view of her life and her troubles than I had previously been aware of and her obvious talent shines through.
Well worth watching even if you were never a fan.
