Review of American Sniper (2014) by Duckxpert — 19 Jan 2015
I find it interesting as to how the public rated the movie at the time of the showing. What I saw in a packed theater at the end is applause followed by filing out in virtual silence. You can tell the veterans who were at the movie just by looking at the faces of those exiting.
As a veteran myself, I could not but be affected by the long buried feelings that came to the surface during the movie. I would caution those who saw combat action, especially those with PTSD to seriously think before seeing it, and if you do, don't go alone.
