The Compelling Truth Behind American Sniper.

Bradley Cooper displayed great courage performing and acting as Chris Kyle throughout the movie American Sniper. Various details helped make this film an enjoyable movie to watch. According to USA Today, Bradley Cooper gained close to 40 pounds of muscle in order to accurately play the role of Chris Kyle in the movie. To accomplish that task, he ate a minimum of 6,000 calories and worked out close to 5 hours per day. The actor Taya in American Sniper is actually Chris Kyle's wife. She wanted the movie to be as realistic as possible, so she even took part in creating it. American Sniper was very significant, well produced, and overall a great movie.

American Sniper was a very factual movie that displayed the devastating truth of war. Movies about the fight in Iraq and Afghanistan are common, but American.

Sniper is quite different. Great actors. Factual storyline. Well organized. Cooper's role portrayed the devastation Chris Kyle faced while fighting in war. Throughout this movie, Bradley Cooper commonly blasted his high-powered sniper off of building tops into enemy territory, just as Chris Kyle did in reality. Although some parts of the movie seem quite graphic, it leaves an impact on viewers through the realization of the horrendous destruction of war. The movie almost makes you feel like you were actually there.

Flashbacks of war were common for Chris Kyle and the filmmakers incorporated it into the movie in a creative way. According to some of his medical records, Chris Kyle consulted a counselor about stress caused from combat. The significance of this movie is more than most people notice. American Sniper portrayed the following aspects: tragedies, life-changing moments, and effects of war. This movie opened the eyes of almost all viewers. When I left the theater, after the first time watching the movie, everyone left in silence. It was a breathtaking experience, and I honestly could not believe it at first.

If you ever desire to watch an action packed, mind-warping movie with a true storyline, American Sniper is the movie for you. It's not very often that a dramatic movie catches my eye, but American Sniper was different. The reality of Chris Kyle's life--tragic but heroic--made for a very interesting and elaborate storyline. Although many doubted Clint Eastwood's directing capabilities, I feel he did an excellent job portraying the life of Chris Kyle in American Sniper.
