Review of American Sniper (2014) by Imthenoob — 23 Feb 2015

Cooper was fantastic and Eastwood did a good job directing. That's all the good I can say about it. The needless drama/sub-plot with his wife adds nothing, The dialogue is almost non-existent and really just filler for the action scenes, The plot itself goes no where.

If it wasn't based on a "true" story, It'd be another generic war based action flick. It's not a bad movie by any means, It's certainly worth renting, but it's no where near as great as it'd made out to be.
