Underrated! The voice over by Edward James Olmos is deep. It's done in poetry form and I thought that was cool. You wanna see a gangster film from the "Mexican/Chicano perspective?", then this is the one you should see.
It's hardcore and based on a true story and the movie looks real, not some Hollywood bullshit. Edward James Olmos deserved at least an Oscar nomination for his acting and directing and he got neither.
