The film is equal parts wonder and horror. A sense of dread runs throughout, and makes for a enjoyable experience. The film tests your patience, however, and would have benefited from a stronger editor.
The over the shoulder shots from the back of the van grow tiresome and makes the film better suited for the small screen (i.e. TV). The sex is very realistic and both great and unsettling.
