Review of American Honey (2016) by James O — 25 Mar 2018
Immediately one of my fave films. From the soundtrack, through to the very realness of this film. I loved every aspect of it and it never felt too long. Some of the crazed youths became tiresome but that's kind of the point.
The lead actress was outstanding and all round the acting is so sharp, it just feels like you're on the same road trip as everyone else. There's also something beautifully transcendent about the film.
I'm a huge fan of this movie.
