Review of Amarcord (1973) by Ryan S — 17 Jul 2008
This is a wierd movie. A surrealist memoir. It is also a highly personal movie from a great cinematic artist. And like all great works of art, it doesn't always seem to make sense in that standard, cut and dry formulaic way. However, watch it - let the vignette's wash over you, and you may find yourself moved in unexpected ways.
This movie is a beatiful expressionistic piece, and worthy of your time.
