Review of Amadeus (1984) by Connor F — 26 Jan 2013
The tale of Mozart's rapid self destruction takes patience to appreciate, but is very rewarding for the time given. Hulce brings an erratic, charismatic appeal to Mozart that makes his contrast to Salieri all the more interesting.
A lavish story and intriguing, complex characters make Amadeus almost as marvelously crafted as the compositions made by it's title figure.
