Review of Altered (2014) by James O — 18 Jul 2011
Cool alien invasion type movie. The guys that made The Blair Witch Project got fucked over by Hollywood as the only time I knew this was available was when I saw it on DVD in the shops! Shame, because this is a suspenseful, at times scary, occassionaly slightly gory, well made and acted horror/thriller about some friends that try to get revenge on some aliens for killing their friend.
They manage to catch one but obviously things aren't as easy as that. Despite seeing a bit to much of the alien(which to be fair, is quite scary) and i'm still not totally sure about the ending, this is a decent film, well worth a look and I felt a bit sorry for the Blair Witch guys.
Love it or hate it, that film made a shit load of money so there's obviously been some wankers at work somewhere because if there wasn't, this may have got a cinema release as its better than alot of the shit that gets put out most weeks these days.
