I think this type of story has run its course in the movies. By now it is feeling pretty stale. Woodley's character in particular feels like it is done and bored. Theo James comes off best and is given much more to do.
Nevertheless, as the movie progresses the uninspired special effects and silly plot twists sink this ship.
