I'll admit it: Part of the fascination of this film is knowing the backstory and being amazed at the way Christopher Plummer's performance was added in at the last minute. But along with all that is a fascinating story, well-acted, especially by Plummer and Michelle Williams.
The tension is palpable and the slice of life of the super rich is eye-opening as well.
