What's fascinating about this film to me was the behind the scene of negotiations that took place of kidnapped John P. Getty. I didn't get much of connection for the kidnapped victim itself but other characters, his mother, grandfather, the kidnappers & in between people that handling the situation was the highlight of the film.
Actings were overall great, Michelle Williams & Christopher Plummer were the most stand out along with one of kidnapper (Italian actor, I'm assuming) who was handling the John Paul Getty.
Only nit pick I have was some of CGI and pacing of the film bothered me but there were more enjoyable elements in the film and I would love to get this movie on DVD or Blu-ray. Also, if you're bored and want to see something different than star wars ( sorry ??), this should be the cup of tea for adults and grown ups.
