Review of All the King's Men (2006) by Allison J — 17 Sep 2011
Sean Penn was amazing. I'm not a fan of his in particular, but I could see talent. It was difficult to determine what his character was really like - a true politician, but didn't seem like it at first, maybe on purpose the process changed him?? lots of imagery and mysteries to figure out, not quite-obvious pieces of a puzzle. Too bad JL's character couldn't have cared a bit more about something, he would have been better off.
...When you see the final image, let me know what you think it means. I have an idea.
...And "why was it called 'all the king's men'?" - think Humpty Dumpty.
