Review of All That Jazz (1979) by Steve D — 11 May 2014
Kind of brilliant in its way. I wish Fred Astaire had been 15 years younger when this was being made, he could have made it even more amazing. Schieder does a great job, but I still feel another actor could have done more with this.
The musical numbers are pretty stylish, even if the musical elements are kind of weak. Definitely shades of brilliance in here, maybe just a few wrong turns. It also feels more dated than it should.
