Review of All That Jazz (1979) by Brandon S — 28 Jun 2007
This was the first R-rated film I snuck into, and I still revisit it occasionally. Scheider, a non-dancer, does a remarkable job getting into Fosse's too-tightly-fitting skin, portraying a man deeply in love with self-destruction.
But when self-destruction sings, dances, and looks like Jessica Lange, who can blame him?
