Review of All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) by Fritz C — 21 Jan 2010
A great film focusing on the horrors the soldiers are experiencing during the First World War, while everything and everyone at home are ignorant about what's happening at the front.
For a 1930 film, it was brilliant in depicting the scenes at the front; very compelling. The camera captured the very essence of good and artistic cinematography. The black and white resolution added dramatic effect.
This is one of the very first war movies that'll stir up your sympathy for the victims of useless clashes that ended up for nothing but the lost of innocent and brainwashed minds.
