This movie is just so sad & depressing. I'm guessing it's suppose to be funny & heartwarming..but they seriously FAILED at the whole thing. I adore Sandra Bullock..but I count this as her worst movie EVER! I can't believe that she actually did this film! Did she not read the script at all?! Mary (Bullock) is so annoying & not likable at all! AND it's very creepy how obsessed she becomes with Steve (Cooper).
YIKES! I'm guessing the whole point of this film is that it's okay to be different, smart, & be 40 something years old, umarried, with a crappy job, AND still live with your parents. Overall, maybe a few people out there might find this hard to watch little movie charming.
.but I had to force myself to make it through to the end.
