Review of Alive (1993) by Lee K — 22 Jun 2008
I dig true life survival stories almost more than any other kind, and this is a fascinating tale of unbelieveable adversity. However, the film is not nearly as good as the book and stars white Americans - the real life rugby players were from Uruguay.
Ultimately the film didn't truly capture the sheer intensity nor urgency of the experience.
