Review of Alive (1993) by Steven (Mogi) . — 09 Jun 2009
It's been a long time since I saw this, so it was nice to revisit it. A good survival story about a group of rugy players who get in a plane crash in the Andes and spend months waiting to be rescued (well, everyone knows the story, why explain it?).
For such a secluded area and pretty much one location, it's impressive that they made the film so watchable. However, I couldn't help watch this and think of things like Cannibal the Musical and Chris Elliott's book Into Hot Air.
Anyway, impressive film, good cast and a great score make this a compelling story.
